Travelling is soooo exhausting..

.. but so totally worth it!

The trip to Lapland has been over since 4am today when we finaly, after 11hours of sitting in the bus, arrived to Jyväskylä (this could very well be the reason why I didn't have a chance to blog anymore pictures yesterday like promised). So if you today happen to meet a foreigner (or myself) walking around Jyväskylä like a zombie with a stupid smile on their face, don't be alarmed, this is normal.
We only spent 5 days in Lapland but got to experience so many new and awesome things. See for yourself:

Who doesn't love a little cute puppy <3

Hungting for northern lights on snowshoes but as you can see it was snowing and so it was cloudy sky and so no northern lights that night.

But at least we got to slide down a 1.2km long hill with "liukuri".

Althought I do reccommend going with a sled on this hill, much less painful on the butt and goes a lot faster!

Yep, it was some snowy business!

On our final evening in Lapland we had a karaoke competition and here is the winner team!
I don't have any pictures of our own show (or actually two shows) but there are videos and it is under concideration if they will ever be shown in public or not.

Our last night was also very special because we finaly got to see the northern lights!

Our last day before the nice busride home included some cross counrty skiing and cooling after a smokesauna!

And so our trip is over. Of course these pictures don't cover all the fun things we did but I just wanted to give you a little taste of the things you can do in Lapland and in Finland!
This might have been my first time visiting Lapland (yes, I'm a bad finn who hasn't visited Lapland until now, I know) but it is definitely not going to be the last!

Sleepy greetings

Sanna
